Il telescopio spaziale Hubble e stato lanciato il 24 aprile 1990 con lo Space Shuttle Discovery e posto negli strati esterni dell’atmosfera terrestre a circa 560 km dalla terra.Progetto della NASA e dell’Agenzia Spaziale Europea(ESA).
